About The Beautiful Minds Learning Centre

The Beautiful Minds Learning Centre is a Centre for intellectually disabled children and is situated in Plumstead in the Southern Suburb area of Cape Town. The Centre will provide education to learners who are intellectually and physically disabled and who cannot be mainstreamed.

The Beautiful Minds Learning Centre will cater for learners who have a variety of learning needs aged from 5 – 18 years old .

The primary learning will consist of home-based classrooms, a teacher and a teacher assistant.

Parents’ participation is strongly encouraged to assist in the growth and development of the learners

Our vision is to create a centre for learners who are intellectually and physically disabled. We strive to bridge learning and developmental barriers and to support and integrate the learners into every day life.

To accept our learners and treat them with dignity so that they can enjoy happiness and quality of life.

To strive to meet the educational, social and vocational training needs of children who have intellectual and physical difficulties within the loving and caring environment of the Beautiful Minds Learning Centre.

In partnership with parents, through formal and informal interaction and involvement, to provide the opportunity for each individual to grow and develop to his / her full potential.
