Our young and vibrant College celebrated the success of its first matric class at the end of 2012. Our classes are small and allow meaningful and substantial interaction between our teachers and the pupils.
We teach in specialised classrooms in Physical Science, Life Science and Information Technology and offer lessons in a variety of subjects using the latest teaching methodology and equipment. The Grade Eight and Nine syllabus is enhanced by our on-going integration of the content and skills of the different subjects that prepare our learners for their subject in the FET phase of their school lives. Our learners learn English Home Language and can choose between Afrikaans and Sepedi at First Additional Language level.
In Grade 10 to Grade 12, the school offers an Economic stream through Accounting and Business Studies, a Humanities stream through Geography, History and Dramatic Arts and rounds out the possible subject choices with a Sciences stream through Physical Sciences and Life Sciences. Information Technology (IT) and Computer Application Technology (CAT) are also offered.
Our timetable emphasises contact time with our learners and thus, the pastoral role that our educators play in the lives of the children they teach. Academic support and enrichment programmes play a crucial role in our on-going success, as does an extensive year-round Sport, Cultural and Service curriculum which supplements our participation in the President’s Award programme.
Congratulation!
