The West Rand school was established in 1968, and is situated in Wentworth Park, in Krugersdorp.
The school is an integrated, multi-cultured, multi-racial school that caters for a variety of learners with special needs.
The learners at our school all have various special needs or disabilities that make it difficult for them to cope with mainstream education.
Our personnel are made up of teachers, Speech, Occupational and Physiotherapists, as well as an on-site psychologist.
We have a full-time nurse on call. We also have dedicated maintenance staff, bus drivers and facilitators.
To ensure our learners receive the best education possible, the school has a multi-disciplinary approach, using both therapists and teachers to assist our learners. Also, to ensure our learners have a well-rounded education, we not only focus on academic progress, but also aim to meet their sporting, social and cultural needs.
We pride ourselves in meeting the special, unique needs of our learners, and ensuring they reach their full potential.
Congratulation!
